FortiSwitch Feature Matrix

FortiSwitch의 각 모델별로 Standalone mode로 지원하는 기능과 Standalone / FortiLink를 통한 managed Switch에서 모두 지원하는 기능등으로 구분 되어있다.

 

FortiSwitch v7.4.2의 Feature Matrix의 일부

위 예의 경우 FortiSwitch 1xxE, 1xxF 모델의 경우 standalone mode에서 Software routing을 지원하고, hardware routing을 지원하지 않는다.

이 의미는 FortiSwitch 1xxE, 1xxF 모델이 standalone mode로 동작할 경우, Software routing만 지원하기 때문에 아래와 같은 throughput를 보인다.

• 동일한 VLAN 내부 통신 : 약 900 ~ 950Mbps.
• 다른 VLAN과의 통신 : 약 13Mbps 이하

2xx 시리즈의 경우 hardware routing을 지원하기 때문에 다른 VLAN과의 통신에도 정상적인 속도를 보인다.
